The minister suggested the use of geo-textile technology to tackle landslides in the hilly roads of the state and at the same time, he also appreciated the suggestion and assured that such technology would be planned for projects in Arunachal Pradesh on an experimental basis. He informed that the ministry is trying out every possibility of using advanced technologies to make roads more durable. Apart from this, MoRTH also agreed to declare four major roads including Akajan-Likabali-Bame Road in West Siang, Margherita-Changlang road in Changlang District, Daporijo to Dollungmukh via Dumporijo along the left bank of Subansiri River and Tezu to Chapakhowa via Sunpura as national highways.
