MMRDA Fast-Tracks Mumbai Metro Line 14

MMRDA

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is expediting work on Mumbai Metro Line 14, a 38 km corridor connecting Kanjurmarg to Badlapur.

A key step forward is the tender issuance for an environmental impact report and necessary approvals. Once a consultant is appointed, formalities will be completed swiftly, with construction expected to begin within a year.

The project will provide much-needed relief to Badlapur residents, cutting their 1.5 to 2-hour commute. As Mumbai’s metro network expands to 337 km, Metro Line 14 will enhance connectivity and reduce congestion.
