MHADA and Adani to Redevelop Mumbai’s Motilal Nagar in Goregaon

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has partnered with Adani Properties, the real estate arm of the Adani Group, to redevelop Motilal Nagar in Goregaon (West), Mumbai. Spanning 142 acres, this marks MHADA’s largest-ever single housing redevelopment project.

As part of the plan, eligible MHADA residents will receive new homes with a built-up area of 1,600 sq ft, the largest ever offered in the authority’s redevelopment history. Commercial unit holders will be allotted 987 sq ft spaces, while eligible slum dwellers will get 300 sq ft homes as per Slum Rehabilitation Authority norms.
