Shellinfo Global Digital Tech Secures ₹93.17cr CMRL Contract
Shellinfo Global Digital Tech has secured a contract with a scope of work that includes designing, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Station Level Equipment for the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System for CMRL Phase-II Corridor-4. This marks Shellinfo's second contract in the 116.1 km Chennai Metro Phase 2 project and is specifically for Line-4, with a contract value of ₹93.17 crores. Corridor 4, covering 26.1 km from Lighthouse to Poonamallee Bypass, aims to improve connectivity to the northern suburbs of Chennai with 30 elevated and underground stations, overcoming previous delays associated with Coastal Regulation Clearance issues.
