Noida Authority seeks approval for DPR of Noida-G.Noida west metro link
The Noida Authority is seeking state government approval for a new Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Noida-Greater Noida West Metro link after the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) rejected the initial DPR. The PMO suggested a revised route starting from Blue Line's Noida Sector 61 station, passing through Noida Sector 71, 72, Garhi Chowkhandi Village, and Parthala Bridge for seamless connectivity with the Delhi Metro Blue Line. The Noida Authority is now exploring this alternative route instead of the originally proposed one originating from Noida's Sector 51. The PMO emphasized the need for a connected route to ensure better integration with existing metro lines.
