Gurugram Metro to implement ₹5452.72 cr Circular Mobility Corridor
Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), a new joint venture between the Central and Haryana governments, will spearhead the implementation of a ₹5,452.72 crore circular mobility corridor from Millennium City Centre to Cyber City in Gurugram. The corridor will connect Millennium city centre to Subhash Chowk, Railway station, Rezangla Chowk, and Cyber City in a circular route. The project, aimed at efficient urban transit solutions, reflects HMRTC's commitment to providing robust and resilient ridership experiences. Pre-construction activities, including geotechnical investigations, have commenced, signaling the beginning of this transformative project. Additionally, HMRTC is progressing on the Rezangla Chowk to Sector 21, Dwarka Rail project, an 8.40 km corridor with seven stations and a completion cost of ₹1,891.56 crore. The Vatika Chowk to Panchgaon metro connectivity project envisions a 30 km corridor, with RITES as the appointed consultant and DPR discussions currently underway.
