GPT Infra wins ₹270-cr contract for Rail Flyover construction in Allahabad
GPT Infraprojects, a premier infrastructure company and a division of the GPT Group, has secured a contract worth ₹270 crore from Bridge & Roof Company (India) for the construction of a rail flyover between the Allahabad and Bamrauli rail line. The scope of work for the project includes earthwork, pile foundation, composite steel girder, RCC deck slabs, road overbridge (ROB), utilities shifting, and other related tasks for the construction of RFO-2 (Phase 2). The company specializes in the execution of large bridges and ROBs for Railways and currently has orders worth ₹2,471 crore in hand, including a cumulative order inflow of ₹1,125 crore in the current financial year. Additionally, the GPT Group also operates a division that manufactures and supplies concrete sleepers for Railways in India and Africa.
