Bids Invited for Jeypore-Malkangiri Railway Project in Odisha
East Coast Railway (ECR) has issued bids for the Jeypore-Malkangiri New Railway Line Project in Odisha's Waltair Division, to be executed on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode. The project entails the construction of a new Broad Gauge (BG) railway line spanning from Jeypore to Malkangiri, covering a distance of 41.5 km. The scope of work includes various components such as earthwork, bridges, road over bridges (ROBs), track works, supply of track ballast, construction of platforms, station buildings, and residential buildings, among others. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 641.52 crore, with a stipulated completion period of 24 months. The deadline for bid submission is set for May 30, 2024.
