MEP Infra secures ₹1,400-cr funds for road projects

Fast tracking the construction work on the projects it secured in the highway sector on HAM model from NHAI, MEP Infrastructure Developers has achieved financial closure of ₹1400 crore for three HAM projects in Maharashtra with a combined investment of ₹2,848.73 crore. YES Bank was a lead lender, said an official spokesperson. The three projects include four-laning of Ausa-Chakur, Chakur-Loha and Loha-Waranga sections of NH-361 with project costs of ₹848 crore, ₹1,000 crore and ₹1,073 crore, respectively. Grants for funds were also given by NHAI and an equity contribution from the developer. MEP has now tied up funds for all its nine HAM projects.
