Maharashtra Cabinet Approves ₹24,702.92 Cr Jalna-Nanded Expressway

The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved the ₹24,702.92 crore Jalna-Nanded expressway, which will connect to the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway. This new expressway is expected to reduce the current 226 km distance between Jalna and Nanded by 45 km, bringing the travel time down from four hours to just two. A special-purpose vehicle (SPV) has been established to oversee the project’s implementation.
