LDA announces multiple realty projects in UP

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has recently announced multiple construction projects in around the state capital, said chief engineer Indu Shekhar Singh, explaining that the nodal agency has decided to construct a shopping mall on 30 acre land in Sector E, Aliganj. In addition, the authority is also building a hi-tech township on the 1,500-acre land on Rae Bareli road and this will be second such township in the area and also 3,000 apartments will be built on its 10-acre land parcel in Aishbagh area and that these projects are currently in the process of clearance. Also a park, a school and power sub-station will be constructed in Rajajipuram on a piece of land which was earlier allotted for construction of residential flats. In 2014, LDA constructed 2,980 flats on this land, of which 980 were built in 2016 however there are very few takers for the flats, hence, LDA decided to change the plan. A proposal to grant no objection certificate (NOC) for the construction of a 1.2 km subway connecting Ram Manohar Lohia hospital to Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in the state capital as the two institutes are being merged by state government, said LDA sources.
