L&T wins twin projects worth Rs.2,100 cr
The wholly owned subsidiary of the Larsen and Toubro, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, has secured engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts of about Rs.2,100 crore for the construction of crude distillation and vacuum distillation unit (CDU & VDU). One order has been received from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), Visakhapatnam Refinery, and the other one is an extension to an ongoing contract for Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) at Jamnagar in Gujarat. The 9 million ton per annum CDU & VDU project is a part of HPCL's Visakhapatnam Refinery modernization project involving EPC and commissioning, the company said in a statement. L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering has been serving the onshore hydrocarbon sector since the early 1990s. Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $17 billion in revenue operating across over 30 countries around the globe.
