Gayatri Projects gets Rs.583 cr NH project

Adding to its project portfolio in the road sector, the Hyderabad-based infrastructure builder has bagged Rs.583 crore road project from the National Highways Authority of India. The contract included the rehabilitation and upgrading of Cuttack-Angul Section of NH-42 (NEW NH-55) to 4-lane between 0+400 km to 60+200 km in Odisha under NHDP Phase-III. The project, which entailed an investment of Rs.583 crore, is to be executed on EPC model, said an official spokesperson. The contract in question is in an addition to the Rs.1,139 crore project won by the company on December 20, 2017, in a joint venture with public joint stock company 'Kyivmetrobud'. The project it bagged earlier will be executed by Gayatri-KMB (joint venture) and was also awarded by the National Highways Authority of India under Bharatmala program, a centrally-sponsored and funded road and highways program.
