L&T takes up multiple construction contracts
Apart from this, it also secured an EPC contract from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department in Odisha to be executed on individual Rural Water Supply Projects in the Kendrapada & Khorda districts. The scope of work includes design & construction of intake structures, 4 water treatment plants of a cumulative capacity of 105 MLD, supplying and laying transmission and distribution pipelines, overhead service reservoirs, a booster pumping station, house service connections and associated electromechanical & instrumentation works including measuring the input & output of the quantity and quality of water at each level.
It has also taken up a repeat order from the Water Resources Department of the same state to construct an intake structure and pressure main along the right bank of Bargarh main canal of the Gangadhar Mehar Lift Irrigation Project in Bijepur, on an EPC turnkey basis. The scope of work includes design & construction of an intake structure, pump house, pressure main of length 34-km and associated electromechanical & instrumentation works.
