Adding to its project portfolio in the country’s real estate sector, L&T Realty has entered into a deal with real estate developer Nirmal Lifestyle Developers to jointly develop a 160 acre plot for residential purposes. Under the agreement, L&T Finance Ltd will fund Rs.570 crore for the project with the land parcel with development potential of three million sqft, Dharmesh Jain, CMD, Nirmal Lifestyle Developers said that the premium housing project will commence operations in four to six months and it has estimated the project realization worth Rs.5,500 crore. The upcoming project will be funded by L&T Finance using Rs.400 crore to settle existing debt to Kotak Investment Advisors and INQ Holdings (acting through Debenture Trustee IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd).
