L&T Construction, a wholly arm of the Larsen & Toubro, has recently secured contracts worth Rs 30 billion for the construction of commercial buildings and factories in Andhra Pradesh, said an official spokesperson, claiming that the company has received an order from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) on the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. The buildings in question will house the Head Quarters of the upcoming state capital at Amaravati in the state. Apart from this, it has also secured an order for the construction of a tourism-related facility in Muscat, Oman form its existing client where the scope of work includes building structure, architectural finishes, MEP services, extensive landscaping and external development, he added.
