KNR Constructions Bags Rs 319 Cr Contract to Build Hyderabad’s Second Cable-Stayed Bridge at Mir Alam Tank

Bridge-Project
The Telangana government has awarded KNR Constructions Limited a Rs 319.24 crore contract to construct the Iconic Bridge across Mir Alam Tank, connecting the Bengaluru National Highway at Shastripuram to Chintalmet. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.

Set to become Hyderabad’s second cable-stayed bridge after the Durgam Cheruvu Bridge in Madhapur, the new structure aims to ease traffic congestion between the Bengaluru Highway and Chintalmet. The bridge will also play a key role in the Musi Riverfront Development Project (MRDP), which focuses on flood prevention, infrastructure improvement, environmental rejuvenation, and tourism development along the 58-km Musi corridor.
