KEC International wins infra contracts worth ₹1,140-cr

KEC International has secured new orders worth ₹1,140 crore across business verticals including power transmission & distribution (T&D), railways and civil construction on EPC model. it had secured ₹963 crore T&D orders for projects in the Middle East and Africa, ₹113 crore railways orders for the Overhead Electrification project to speed up-gradation and ₹64 crore civil construction contract for the hydrocarbon segment in India. The railway business of the company continues to expand in emerging areas with its first order in the area for semi high-speed rail. The entry of civil business in the hydrocarbon segment opens up a huge opportunity for it in the segment. MD & CEO, KEC International, informed that contracts secured in the T&D business along with the domestic orders announced earlier have enhanced the order book in its core areas of operations.
