KEC International Secures Orders Worth ₹1,003 Cr Across Multiple Segments
KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major and part of the RPG Group, has announced new order wins worth ₹1,003 crores across multiple business segments. The company’s Railway business has secured a significant order for a Tunnel Ventilation system and associated works in India, marking its entry into this emerging sector.
In addition, KEC’s Civil business has bagged a contract in the industrial segment for Civil and Mechanical works in a steel plant in India, further expanding its portfolio. The company’s Cables business has also received orders for the supply of various types of cables for both domestic and overseas markets.
Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International, expressed satisfaction with these wins, noting that the company’s Railway business has successfully entered the Tunnel Ventilation space, while the Civil business has added a prestigious new client in the Metals & Mining sector. With these orders, KEC’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake has crossed ₹12,300 crores, reflecting a 60% growth over the previous year. Notably, 70% of this year’s orders have come from the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business, underlining KEC’s robust performance in the sector.
