KEC International bags ₹1,520-cr EPC contracts

KEC International has secured new orders worth ₹1,520 crore across its multiple business segments. The contracts include an order of ₹964 crore for the construction of elevated viaduct along with 8 stations of the Delhi Metro Phase IV project, from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). In addition, it has secured two orders of ₹391 crore for construction of 400 kv Transmission lines in Nepal; and an order of ₹165 crore for construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) in Western India. MD & CEO, KEC International, Vimal Kejriwal, said that the company is pleased with the new order wins, especially the second order from DMRC which strengthens its presence in the urban transport sector. With the international orders secured in T&D and the domestic orders announced earlier this year, the company sees traction in its core T&D business and the contract win in Nepal will consolidate its leadership position in the SAARC T&D market.
