KCC Buildcon Emerges as Lowest Bidder for Airside Works at Bundi Greenfield Airport in Rajasthan

KCC Buildcon has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the airside works at the upcoming greenfield airport in Bundi, Kota (Rajasthan). The tender was issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and covers a comprehensive EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) scope, including detailed design, engineering, and execution of key airport infrastructure components.

The project involves earthworks, grading, construction of the runway, apron, taxiways, and isolation bay, along with civil and electrical works for NAV-AIDS facilities. It also includes the development of perimeter and approach roads, construction of operational and non-operational boundary walls, and installation of an advanced runway lighting system with allied works.

The project marks a major step toward strengthening aviation infrastructure in Rajasthan and supporting regional air connectivity under the government’s UDAN initiative.
