Kazakhstan inks $300-mn deal with Indian infra builders

Several mainline Indian companies participated in the Astana Economic Forum and the Kazakhstan Global Investment Round Table (KGIR - 2019) on May 16-17, and finalized contracts of over $ 300 million The Indian delegation included NTPC, ONGC Videch Limited, CG Corp Global, India Power, and top officials of Indian companies India Invest, RV Healthcare, and Refex Energy. Indian businessmen met with the Minister of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliev, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Roman Sklyar, Vice Minister of Energy SungatYesimkhanov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dosayev, as well as the first leaders of the ―Baiterek‖ National Managing HoldingJSC, Development Bank of Kazakhstan, ―Astana‖International Financial Center, National Company―Kazakh Invest‖, ―Samruk-Kazyna‖ Invest LLP and Kazakh Export.
