Karnataka Govt Invests ₹1,700 Cr in White-Topping Roads Across Bengaluru

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has announced a ₹1,700 crore investment to upgrade Bengaluru’s roads to international standards through white-topping. Currently, 97 roads spanning 150 km are undergoing this transformation, ensuring durability and reduced maintenance.
The project, executed with contributions from various urban agencies, includes designated ducts for power and communication cables, preventing future road cutting and enhancing the city's infrastructure sustainability.
