Karnataka Cabinet Approves Rs 2,296 Cr Projects Under Greater Bengaluru Action Plan

The Karnataka Cabinet has approved development projects worth Rs 2,296 crore under the Greater Bengaluru Action Plan (GBA) to tackle the city’s growing infrastructure challenges.

The plan includes asphalting of roads and urban development works across five city corporations, with an estimated cost of Rs 1,241.57 crore. An additional Rs 1,055 crore has been allocated for ward-level infrastructure upgrades under the Chief Minister’s Development Scheme, aimed at improving civic amenities and easing traffic congestion.

In addition, the Cabinet has approved the establishment of eight new Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) 2.0 across various districts, with a total outlay of Rs 80 crore, to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in emerging sectors.
