Bengaluru’s first tunnel road project

The Karnataka cabinet has approved Bengaluru’s first tunnel road project, aimed at easing the city’s notorious traffic congestion. The project, estimated to cost ₹12,690 crore, includes the construction of a twin-tube, 18 km corridor from Hebbal flyover to Central Silk Board junction, with five entry/exit points. Additionally, a 250-metre sky deck has been greenlit as part of the initiative.
