JMC secures ₹1,966 cr multiple EPC contracts

JMC Projects (India) Limited (JMC), a leading Civil Engineering and EPC Company and subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, has secured new orders of ₹1,966 crore, whereby, JMC led consortium has secured two turnkey projects under Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme worth ₹2,650 crores from Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) in Madhya Pradesh with its share of about ₹1,600 crore. It also secured a contract for the construction of Township for National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) for around ₹366 crores in Chhattisgarh. Commenting on the newest catch, CEO & Dy. Managing Director, S. K. Tripathi said that the company is pleased with the new order wins in water and building segments as they will help it improve capabilities and further strengthen its presence in the water segment. In addition, the water projects being low capex oriented will also help further augment the return ratios. Overall, the robust and well diversified order book gives confidence to deliver growth targets of 15-20% for financial year 2018-19, he insisted.
