JK Tyre Partners with EKA Mobility for Advanced EV Tyre Solutions
The partnership was formalized in Pune, with Sanjeev Sharma, AVP, Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions, JK Tyre, and Vijaykumar Yelne, President of EKA Mobility, in attendance. Under the long-term agreement, JK Tyre will supply EKA's electric vehicle (EV) fleet with next-generation EV tyres equipped with Connected Treel Sensors for real-time monitoring. A dedicated team from JK Tyre will offer 24/7 support, both at depots and enroute, beginning with the fleet in Mumbai and eventually extending across all cities.

EKA Mobility, one of the few Indian companies providing end-to-end design, manufacturing, and technology for electric commercial vehicles, has made significant strides in recent years. The company has introduced electric city buses, staff carriers, school buses, a 9-meter hydrogen fuel-cell electric bus, and is now poised to enter the last-mile delivery market with its range of e-LCVs designed for Indian customers and businesses.
