Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren Inaugurates & Lays Foundation Stones for Projects Worth Rs 8,799 Cr

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth Rs 8,799 crore to mark 25 years of the state’s formation, reaffirming his vision of building a “Viksit Jharkhand” by 2050.

The CM said the investments will play a key role in modernising infrastructure and nurturing human capital across multiple sectors. Foundation stones were laid for projects worth Rs 4,475 crore, focusing on water resources, urban development, roads, health, and education. Another Rs 4,324 crore was allocated toward roads, rural development, energy, and higher education.

These projects are expected to accelerate Jharkhand’s inclusive growth, improve connectivity, and strengthen essential services across both urban and rural regions of the state.
