IRB InvIT Fund Announces ₹2.00 per Unit Distribution for Q3FY25
IRB InvIT Fund, India’s first listed Infrastructure Investment Trust, has declared a distribution of ₹2.00 per unit for Q3FY25, bringing the total distribution to ₹6.00 per unit for the first nine months of FY25. The announcement was made during the Board Meeting of IRB Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., the Investment Manager to the Trust, held today.
For the third quarter, the total distribution amounts to ₹116 crore. Since its listing in 2017, the Trust has distributed ₹72.35 per unit, translating to ₹4,200 crore, which represents 71% of the funds raised during its IPO.
Commenting on the development, a spokesperson for IRB Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. said, “We have consistently delivered distribution payouts since our IPO, achieving an impressive payout ratio of over 71% to date.”
Additionally, the Trust is evaluating a non-binding preliminary offer from IRB Infra Trust to acquire five established assets valued at approximately ₹15,000 crore. The spokesperson added, “If the acquisition proceeds, it will maximize value for our unitholders and ensure sustained long-term benefits.”
The proposed acquisition highlights the Trust's focus on expanding its portfolio and delivering consistent value to its investors.
