IRB Infrastructure Trust Wins Rs 9,270 Cr TOT Project from NHAI in Uttar Pradesh

IRB-Road-Highway
IRB Infrastructure Trust has secured a major Toll Operate and Transfer (TOT) project from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Uttar Pradesh, with an upfront consideration of Rs 9,270 crore. The project is part of NHAI’s ongoing asset monetisation programme aimed at enhancing private sector participation in highway operations.

The Letter of Award (LoA) from NHAI covers a 366 km bundle that includes sections of the Lucknow–Ayodhya–Gorakhpur corridor (NH-27) and part of the Lucknow–Varanasi corridor (NH-731). The concession will operate under a revenue-linked model for a 20-year period, enabling IRB Infrastructure Trust to collect tolls and maintain the highways during the concession tenure.

This marks one of the largest TOT allocations in recent times and strengthens IRB’s position as a leading player in highway monetisation and long-term infrastructure asset management in India.
