IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd (IRB), one of the largest BOT road developers in India with significant experience in the toll roads and highways sector, has recently announced that it has emerged as a preferred bidder for the six lanes road project starting from Udaipur in Rajasthan to Gujarat Border, at an investment worth Rs. 2,100cr. The project covers km 287.400 to km 401.200 section of NH-8 in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat with a length of about 113.800 km) on DBFOT (Toll)model under NHDP Phase V (package-V). The project commands a concession period of 21 years including the construction period of 910 days, said an official spokesperson, adding that with the latest catch IRB's order book in construction segment stands to increase to approximately Rs. 10,000-cr slated to be executed in the next four years, he added.
