Ingersoll Rand unveils energy efficient MSG® Turbo-Air® 2000 Centrifugal Compressor in India

The launch of MSG® Turbo-Air® 2000 Centrifugal Compressor is part of Ingersoll Rand’s efforts to address the growing requirements of its customers to increase productivity and focus on furthering energy efficiency. As per industry reports centrifugal compressors are proven to have a long mean time between failures (MTBF) and also show a strong availability of 99.7%. With the new compressor, Ingersoll Rand aims to raise the bar in energy efficiency and reliability, not sacrificing one to obtain the other.
Speaking on the launch, Amar Kaul, Chairman & Managing Director, Ingersoll Rand India Ltd. said, “Indian businesses, today, are increasingly looking at improved output while keeping the cost and environmental impact in control. Turbo-Air 2000 has been designed to cater to all these concerns while ensuring ease of operations and high reliability attached with Ingersoll Rand products. With the packaging done locally from our Naroda plant, we are hopeful that we will be able to further enhance our customers’ experience.”
The new compressor ensures zero oil contamination and is powered by Ingersoll Rand’s technology that offers high reliability, better efficiencies and ease of operations. The Maestro™ Universal control panel provides a built-in web server, allowing compressor monitoring using local intranet and with more precise control, businesses will witness a significant annual savings in operating cost.
