UP Govt approves ₹12,000-cr infrastructure projects for Gorakhpur

The Uttar Pradesh government has recently approved a slew of infrastructure projects worth ₹12,000 crore for Gorakhpur. The projects span across various sectors, including the development of world-class infrastructure, civic facilities, road connectivity, water purification, and drainage systems.

In a statement released by the Chief Minister's office, it was mentioned that the CM laid the foundation stone for infrastructural development projects worth ₹144 crore and launched 27 projects involving an investment of ₹165 crore. Additionally, he also inaugurated projects worth ₹1,822 crore, including the Gordhaiya nulla and Ramgarhtal renovation and interception of Nulla with an investment of ₹474.42 crore.

Furthermore, the CM laid the foundation stones for several other projects, such as sewerage projects worth ₹561.34 crore, a jail bypass road and flyover at Khajanchi Chauraha worth ₹96.5 crore, the Bhathat to Bans-sthan four-lane road widening and beautification work worth ₹689.35 crore, among others.

The focus on these projects is expected to boost the overall development of Gorakhpur and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
