TK Elevator wins 'Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency' in India

TK Elevator has been bestowed with the esteemed 'Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency 2023' in India. This recognition solidifies TK Elevator's commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, establishing the company as a benchmark of corporate excellence.

TK Elevator's significant energy conservation efforts include the establishment of a 821 kW capacity rooftop solar plant at their multi-purpose facility (MPF) in Chakan, Pune. This solar plant operates on 100 percent International Renewable Energy Certificates (IREC), effectively reducing electrical-specific energy consumption by 41 percent and thermal-specific energy consumption (PNG) by 31 percent.

The company has implemented various interventions to optimize energy usage, including enhancements to powder coating units, air conditioning systems, and electrical transformers. Additionally, TK Elevator has adopted energy-efficient practices such as utilizing electrically operated forklifts and scissor lifts, employing motion sensors and LED lights, and installing machinery equipped with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) to reduce energy consumption. These efforts collectively contribute to TK Elevator's achievement in energy efficiency and sustainability.
