Shiva Cement installs WHRS to address environmental concerns
Shiva Cement Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Cement, has successfully commissioned Waste Heat Recovery Systems (WHRS) in its facility, aiming to reduce environmental impact of its operations. JSW Cement Managing Director Parth Jindal informed that Odisha-based Shiva Cement is set to produce its highest-ever clinker production this month. Besides, JSW Dolvi has also expanded successfully to a capacity of 4.5 MTPA, enhancing the company's total capacity to 19 MTPA. The work at grinding unit in Vijaynagar and a new clinker line in UAE is in full swing, and will be finished by December 2023. These expansions will elevate the company's capacity to 21 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), and will enable JSW Cement to meet the target of 60 MTPA capactity over the next 5 years.
