The Nehru Place Skywalk project, which was planned five years ago to establish a pedestrian connection between the Metro station concourse and the central plaza, is now approaching its final stages of completion. Once operational, this skywalk will eliminate the need for pedestrians to descend from the elevated station and traverse the bustling Astha Kunj Road in order to access the Nehru Place District Centre. The Delhi Development Authority has confirmed that the entire revitalization project for this area, including the construction of the skywalk, remains on schedule and is anticipated to be fully concluded by the end of March 2024.
