MCD's Chandni Chowk multilevel parking facility nears full operation
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is on track to make the multilevel parking facility at Chandni Chowk fully operational within the next month. The multilevel parking facility is a six-storey structure , constructed at the former Gandhi Maidan. It encompasses six levels, with three of them located underground. One of the underground floors is designated for commercial activities. Upon completion, this parking complex will have the capacity to accommodate 2,338 vehicles. It is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion in congested areas including Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazar, Kinari Bazar, Khari Baoli, Nai Sadak, and Dariba Kalan.
