Maharashtra proposes 38 ropeway proposals, 5 from Pune district
A total of 38 ropeway proposals have been submitted by the Maharashtra government, including the one connecting Sinhagad fort and five others from Pune district, to the Central government. The majority of the proposals were mainly from Mumbai, Satara, Raigad, Nashik, Nanded, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg, besides Pune. They would be evaluated under the Centre’s National Ropeways Development Programme — Parvatmala.
