KEC International Ltd., a leading global infrastructure EPC company and a member of the RPG Group, has announced the acquisition of new orders worth Rs. 1,213 crores across its various businesses. The orders include projects in Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Civil, and Cables.
In the T&D business, KEC International has secured projects in India, SAARC, Middle East, East Asia Pacific, and the Americas. The company has also secured an order in the urban infra segment in India under the Civil business. Additionally, the Cables business has secured orders for various types of cables in India and overseas.
Vimal Kejriwal, the MD and CEO of KEC International, expressed his satisfaction with the order inflows the company has been receiving throughout the year. He stated that with these new orders, the total order inflow for FY23 has reached an all-time high of ₹22,378 crores, representing a significant growth of approximately 30% compared to the previous year. Kejriwal further added that the orders in T&D have considerably expanded the company's T&D order book, particularly in the international market. Furthermore, the Civil business has strengthened its presence with an order in the urban infra segment. These orders, coupled with those announced earlier in the year, reinforce the company's confidence in achieving its targeted growth going forward.
