CEA approves SJVN's Rs 40,000-cr hydro projects in Arunachal Pradesh
The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) greenlights SJVN's Rs 40,000 crore hydro projects in Arunachal Pradesh. The 3,097 MW Etalin HEP and 680 MW Attunli HEP mark significant developments, with Etalin set to become the country's largest hydro project. Commissioning will yield 12,752 million units from Etalin and 2,814 million units from Attunli, both offering a levelized tariff of Rs 4.51 per unit. SJVN, in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh government, aims to boost local infrastructure and employment through the completion of these projects.
