The IndiaSkills Competition 2024, held from 15th to 19th May at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, saw a remarkable rise in women's involvement in traditionally male-dominated trades. With over 900 candidates from 30+ States and Union Territories, including 170+ women, the event showcases a shift towards gender inclusivity. Participants are competing fervently, highlighting their talent and determination. The competition also spotlights emerging skills like Autonomous Mobile Robotics and Cloud Computing, crucial for driving innovation and economic growth. Winners will advance to the WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, France, supported by industry trainers and past champions. The event, overseen by NSDC, concludes on 19th May, marking a milestone in skill development and gender equality.
