India Signs 13 MoUs with Maldives

India has signed 13 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Maldives under the High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) Phase III. Backed by a grant of MVR 100 million (approximately ₹55 crore), the MoUs aim to enhance ferry services, improve maritime connectivity, and uplift community livelihoods across the island nation. The projects are part of India’s ongoing efforts to strengthen regional partnerships and support development initiatives in the Maldives.
