IL&FS, an engineering and construction company of global repute, has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), for the execution of a road project that involves rehabilitation and upgrading the Birpur-Bihpur Section of NH-106 in Bihar at an investment of Rs. 675cr. This road project, which comes under Phase-I of NHDP, will be carried out on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract. IL&FS, Engineering Services, received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the ministry, and an agreement was inked recently, whereby the duration of the project is 36 months.
