ICF Chennai to Develop Electronics Technology for Hyperloop Project
Union Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting, and Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced that Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, will develop the electronics component technology for India's Hyperloop project.

During his visit to the Hyperloop testing facility at IIT Madras Discovery Campus, the Minister witnessed a live demonstration and highlighted that the 410-meter-long Hyperloop test tube at IIT Chennai is the longest Hyperloop test facility in Asia.
Speaking to journalists, Shri Vaishnaw emphasized that the entire testing system for Hyperloop transportation has been developed indigenously and congratulated young innovators for this significant achievement.

Expressing optimism about the project's progress, he noted that the ongoing tests have shown promising results, indicating that India is moving closer to realizing Hyperloop transportation.
He also mentioned that the Ministry of Railways is providing financial and technical assistance to the project. Given ICF's expertise in developing advanced electronics for Vande Bharat trains, the Minister said the factory is well-equipped to handle the development of electronics technology for Hyperloop, further strengthening India's position in futuristic transport solutions.
