Hilton-Embassy JV building Rs.600 cr properties

In order to expand its portfolio in the hospitality sector in India, Hilton Hotels has signed agreements with Embassy Group to develop two hotels in Bengaluru at an investment worth Rs.600 crore. According to a statement the construction of the new hospitality projects is expected to shortly and will be operational in the next couple of years. The dual-branded property will be developed and owned by the Embassy Group and managed by Hilton. As in the past five years, the mainstay of its hospitality foray will be to build hotels and mixed-use developments as part of its business parks, said Chairman & Managing Director of Embassy Group, Jitu Virwani, elaborating that the 500-room dual-branded hotel that features a Hilton brand will be located within the 100-acre Embassy TechVillage Business Park near Marathalli on ORR South Bengaluru.
