Haryana launches Rs.125 cr housing projects

The Haryana Housing Board (HHB) has recently launched the construction work on the three housing societies in Sector 31, Panchkula, under the Prime Minister Awas Yojna for building 711 flats to be handed over to people who have applied for housing units under the scheme. The project will be completed by 2022 and entailed an investment worth Rs.125 crore, secretary of HHB, Randhir Singh said. Apart from this, construction work on 576 flats is currently in full swing where 279 flats are of type A category and their possessions will be given to their owners in May 2018, 234 type-B flats will be handed over in December 2018 while remaining 63 type-C flats will be handed over to their owners in March 2019. Besides this, 135 flats, which are currently under-construction, will be handed over to the ex-Army personnel, he claimed.
