Haryana fixes Rs. 1,818-cr road upgrade

Haryana Road Upgrade
In its quest to provide hassle-free facilities to the road users across the state, the state government in Haryana earmarked Rs. 1,818-cr to strengthen 5,605 km long roads in the current financial year, said PWD minister, elaborating that apart from injecting a facelift to the roads, the department has also decided to install reflectors at dangerous curves of roads to prevent road accidents.

In this regard, the department has prepared a road map for works to carry out during the fiscal and going hi-tech. He also claimed that a WhatsApp number will be launched shortly whereby anyone can send a photograph of a damaged road and the same road stretch will be repaired by the department within 72 hours.
