Gujarat Govt Unveils ₹96,240 Cr Expressway Projects

The Gujarat government has announced two major expressway projects worth ₹96,240 crore to enhance infrastructure and connectivity across the state. The 430-km Namo Shakti Motorway, connecting Deesa in Banaskantha to Pipavav, will be built at an estimated cost of ₹39,120 crore. The second project, the 680-km Somnath-Dwarka Motorway, is expected to cost ₹57,120 crore.

To initiate these mega projects, the state has allocated ₹520 crore for FY2025 from the newly established ₹50,000-crore Developed Gujarat Fund.
