Greenfield-NH-75-Road
The standing committee of the State Wildlife Board has approved the National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) proposal to construct the 100 km greenfield NH-75 road connecting Kushalanagar to Mysuru in four stages. For this project, the NHAI has sought approximately 54 hectares of land within the eco-sensitive zone of Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary and the buffer zone of Nagarhole Tiger Reserve.

The committee has also approved a Public Works Department (PWD) proposal to widen the existing road leading to the Sharavathi Lion-Tailed Macaque Wildlife Sanctuary to improve access for local residents living in the area.
