Govt Launches Phase 4 of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana (PMGSY)

Union Minister for Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the launch of the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). This phase will see the construction of 62,500 km of all-weather roads, providing connectivity to 25,000 unconnected habitations. Additionally, bridges will be built where necessary. The project will cost over ₹70,000 crore, with funds already secured for its implementation.
